Thursday 4 November 2021, as Transafe, we have started a partnership with the TU Delft Solar Boat Team. The TU Delft Solar Boat Team is developing a hydrogen-powered boat with which they will participate in a spectacular race in Monaco on July 4th, 2022. As Transafe, we will support and guide the TU Delft Solar Boat Team when it comes to legislation and regulations of among others transport of the hydrogenboat to Monaco and risk assessment. With this we, as Transafe, are committed to research into the safe use of hydrogen and how this can be applied in the maritime sector at a later stage and we contribute to sustainability and innovation.
