This training programme is certified by the CCV and is concluded with an exam at Transafe. If this training programme is held at our location in Antwerp, the relevant Belgian certification will apply.
The ADN Refresher course consists of 3 days of lessons. The course takes place at our training location in Barendrecht. The lessons start at 08:45 AM.
The course will handle the following topics:
• Aim of the instructions
• Product classification
• Dry cargo transport discussion of Table A of the ADN
• Loading and unloading dry cargo vessels.
• Tanker shipping: discussion of Table C – transitional instructions
• Loading and unloading tanker ships
• ADN checklist
• Responsibilities of the parties involved
• Measuring and detecting
• Entering confined spaces
• Using and maintaining various personal protective equipment
• Various measuring equipment and their use
• Stability
An ADN declaration must be renewed in the period not exceeding one year before its expiration date. The new validity period commences on the expiration date of the previous declaration and is valid for five years. If a course participant takes the repeat course sooner than one year before the expiration date of the declaration, the validity period of the new declaration commences on the date of proof of participation in the course.
Expired ADN declarations cannot be renewed.
This course costs € 699 (exclusive of VAT).
The price includes the digital material, lunch, the practical training lesson (fire extinguishing) and participation in the exam. Any resits are not included in the price and will be invoiced separately. The associate costs are € 145 (exclusive of VAT).
Transafe customers are entitled to a 5% discount on the training course price.
You can use copies of the 2023-2024 ADN legislation during the training course. You have to return these at the end of the training course. You will be required to identify yourself by means of a valid proof of identity during the entire training course. Participation in the training course will not be possible without a valid proof of identity.
Preparing for the training course:
We will provide the ADN exam trainer FREE OF CHARGE for all our training course participants. This is an online tool that will compile a mock exam for you from the official ADN exam question catalogue. This program allows you to practise answering multiple-choice questions infinitely.
As the course material is not used very much during the classes themselves, we have decided to provide it in digital format only. The information in the course folder is to be used as a reference and to deepen your understanding of the course material. This information will be shown during class in the form of a presentation. If you are interested in receiving the digital file, please contact us by email. You will then receive an email from us containing additional information on accessing the course material. For this, you will need to sign up once and submit a personal activation code, after which the course material will be available. If you prefer, we can send you a printed copy of the course material for € 43 (excluding postage).
