ADN Refresher
An ADN specialist must renew the validity of their ADN certification every 5 years. This is done by completing a refresher course and exam. We offer this as a 3-day refresher course. During this course, knowledge and application of the regulations are refreshed, and changes and current topics are addressed.

ADN Course Refresher
Knowledge and use of the regulations are updated, with extensive attention to legislative changes and current issues. The 3-day refresher course is delivered at a reasonably steady pace, allowing ample time for review, participant questions, practice exams, and clarification of more complex topics.
To successfully pass the refresher exam (taken at the end of day 3), we strongly recommend sufficient preparation in advance. Our online learning platform can support this preparation, offering instructional videos on ADN, an exam trainer, legislation, and our course manual.
On the final course day, the exam will take place at 14:30 at our location in Barendrecht.
When enrolling in the ADN Refresher course, you will receive the ADN legislation set 2025–2026 on loan. These books can be used during the exam but must be returned after the course. Throughout the entire course, a valid ID is required for identification. Without valid identification, participation is not possible.

Preparation for the course ADN Basic
We provide all participants with free access to an online learning environment. This includes instructional videos explaining ADN, an ADN exam trainer, legislation, and the course handbook.
The online learning environment will be made available digitally via a link after registration. The course handbook serves as a reference guide and a deeper exploration of the course material. During the lessons, this material will be presented through slides.

This is how cancelling or rescheduling works
You can cancel or reschedule your registration free of charge up to 30 days before the course starts. For cancellations or rescheduling between 30 and 7 days before the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged. Within 7 days before the course, cancellations or rescheduling will not be refunded.
If a CBR exam has been reserved, these costs will be charged in case of cancellation or rescheduling and are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend one or more course days due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, these days must be made up in a subsequent course to meet CCV requirements. A fee of € 150 per day will apply for rescheduling missed course days.

What should I bring to the course?
Only a valid ID is required.
Is lunch included?
Yes, this courses includes lunch. Coffee, tea and water are available throughout the day.
Where does the exam take place?
The exam is administered on the final course day at our location.
How many times can I retake the exam?
You can retake the exam twice. There should be at least three business days between each retake. If the result is still insufficient, the entire course must be retaken. All retakes and any refresher courses must be completed before the expiration date of your certificate. Otherwise, the entire ADN Basic Course must be retaken. The cost of a retake can be found by clicking the button below.
I passed the exam, what’s next?
Congratulations on passing your exam! To receive your official ADN certificate, you still need to submit an application to the CBR. This requires the correct form and, if applicable, additional documents. After approval and payment, you will receive your certificate within a few weeks.
Are the ADN books included in the course?
During the course, you will receive a copy of the current version of the ADN in book form. You must return this copy after passing the exam.
My ADN certificate has expired, what now?
If your certificate expires, you must retake the entire ADN Basic Course. Any Chemical or Gas endorsements will expire and must be retaken.
What if I’m sick or miss a day?
To take the ADN exam, all course days must be attended. If you are sick or absent, always contact us by phone. Together we’ll find a suitable solution to catch up on missed days. A fee of €150 per day applies for rescheduling.
Can I cancel or reschedule the course?
