Loading Master

The Loading Master training is a one-day theory course held on site at a tank storage terminal. Participants gain in-depth insight into the responsibilities of a Loading Master and learn how to supervise loading and unloading operations in a safe, correct and efficient manner.

The Loading Master training is delivered by a Transafe instructor and takes place on site at a tank storage terminal. The focus is on theoretical knowledge, regulations and responsibilities, and how these apply to the daily tasks of a Loading Master.

After the course, participants receive one year of access to the online reference guide. The correct and complete use of the ISGOTT 6 checklist is covered from a theoretical point of view and discussed using practical examples.

The training typically leads to constructive discussions on the role and responsibilities of the Loading Master. This interaction enhances understanding of the function, including common risks and key points of attention.

Important: Typically, a Loading Master class is organised per terminal, with a minimum requirement of seven participants. Since not all terminals can release seven participants at once, we organize several open enrollment classes each year, where one of the participating terminals serves as the host location.
