Here you will find answers to the most common questions about our ADN courses, from practical details to exam information.
What should I bring to an ADN course?
Only a valid ID is required.
Is lunch included in ADN courses?
Yes, all ADN courses include lunch. Coffee, tea and water are available throughout the day.
Are the ADN books included in the courses?
Yes, during the course you will receive the current ADN edition. In the ADN Refresher course these are on loan, for ADN Basic and Chemicals you may keep them. The books are used during the lessons and the exam.
Where does the ADN exam take place and do I need to arrange it myself?
The exam is administered by CBR. Depending on the course, it takes place either at our location or at a CBR exam centre of your choice. Reservations for date and location are made via Transafe – please contact us by phone.
What if I’m sick or miss a day?
To take the ADN exam, all course days must be attended. If you are sick or absent, always contact us by phone. Together we’ll find a suitable solution to catch up on missed days. A fee of €150 per day applies for rescheduling.
Can I cancel or reschedule an ADN course?
Yes. Up to 30 days before the start, this is free of charge. Between 30 and 7 days before the start, 50% of the course fee will be charged. Within 7 days, cancellation or rescheduling is no longer possible and no refund will be given.
I passed the exam, what’s next?
Congratulations on passing your exam! To receive your official ADN certificate, you still need to submit an application to the CBR. This requires the correct form and, if applicable, additional documents such as a sailing time declaration. After approval and payment, you will receive your certificate within a few weeks.
