Our Loading Master Training gives participants the knowledge and tools to fulfil that responsibility effectively. This one-day training has been developed for everyone involved in the loading and discharging of seagoing vessels and directly aligns with the requirements of port regulations and ISGOTT 6, the leading guideline and checklist for safe tanker and terminal operations.
What does the role of Loading Master involve?
A Loading Master does more than supervise. The role encompasses responsibility for safety, communication, documentation and risk management in every transfer operation. In practice, misunderstandings between ship and shore, unclear agreements and inadequate documentation can have serious consequences — both operationally and legally.
