Two Pertamina employees at a terminal in Indonesia

In collaboration with STC Next, Transafe Academy delivered two intensive Terminal Management training programmes for Pertamina employees in Jakarta, Indonesia, in October 2025.

To ensure energy security, processes within the energy supply chain must be continuously monitored, maintained and optimised. In Indonesia, the state-owned oil company Pertamina plays a key role in this. An important element in achieving this is the level of knowledge of employees involved in these processes.

Professionals from various Pertamina terminals came together for a comprehensive learning experience focused on operational and technical processes, as well as performance indicators. The main objective was to organise terminal operations more efficiently and safely.

The theoretical framework focused on maintenance management, including preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, risk-based planning and lifecycle management. This knowledge transfer, aimed at continuous improvement, was supported by practical tools for inspections, planning instruments, procurement strategies and technical optimisation.

With a forward-looking perspective, participants were also introduced to automation and sustainable innovations, including energy optimisation and emission reduction. These are all key elements for current and future-proof terminal operations.

This programme further strengthened the existing collaboration between STC Next and Transafe through its successful execution in Indonesia.
