To renew the Chemicals endorsement on an ADN certificate, sailing time on a type C-tanker must be demonstrated. If sailing time cannot be proven, the endorsement can still be retained by re-attending the ADN Chemicals course. This participation counts as compensation for the missing sailing time. No exam is required for this course.
